Woman ID'd After Fatal Strike On Rt 30 In Central PA: Officials

The woman who died after being hit by a tractor-trailer has been identified by the York County Coroner's Office according to an updated release on Thursday, Nov. 7.

Tina Aldinger, 64, of Manchester Township, was pronounced at WellSpan York Hospital at 12:29 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, according to the York County Coroner's release.

The fatal crash happened on Arsenal Road/Route 30, east of North George Street in  Manchester Township around 5:54 p.m., according to the Northern York County Regional Police Department.

A 60-year-old man from Stevens was driving his 2012 Peterbilt tractor-trailer eastbound when he struck the woman as she crossed Arsenal Road, outside of a crosswalk, the police detailed in a release. The impact sent her to York Hospital, authorities said.

Her cause of death was "multiple blunt force injuries" and the manner was ruled "accidental," as written in the coroner's release.

Tina was a York native who attended Central York School District, according to her social media. She loved her dogs and husband Art. 

One of her friends wrote:"I really don’t have the words today. Rest in paradise to my grandpa J’s wife. All the memories I have with you in Florida, I can hear your voice, see you dancing while tanning with me outback, you are a soul like no other. You were so loved and deserve better Tina. Say hi to my momma for me, I love you so much Tina."
